Welcome to the website of Bujinkan North Brisbane. We are committed to teaching Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu as taught by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. In this art the techniques are alive and always evolving. Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, is comprised of nine traditional Japanese schools/styles. These nine "Ryuha"schools come together to form our curriculum in the Bujinkan.
Our training group is not a business out to make money. We are also not a competitive martial sport, you will not win any trophies. The Dojo is where we study and learn fighting techniques. "The important thing in the martial arts is not to win, it is to survive"." The most vital techniques in Budo are those which preserve life", In the words of Sensei.
Bujinkan is as old as the hills. Its older then many of the popular martial arts of today, like Judo, Karate, Kendo, Aikido and even Ju Jutsu. Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu retains its battlefield heritage dating back to the first written records of the 1100's.
